The playfield is, of course, the centerpiece of the machine. Again, I couldn't change the physical layout of the playfield elements, so I had to work with what was already there. Fortunately, this playfield is full of interesting features:
The playfield background is predominantly blue, blue-green, and yellow, suggesting the soft bleached-wood pastels of Santa Fe. Accents are in red, white, and black, echoing the colors of the cabinet. The pink hearts draw immediate attention to the central rollovers and Wedding Vase target.
The contrasting color triangular regions connect playfield features and lights together, and give a sense of flow to the playfield.
