The backglass was in terrible condition with about 15% gone and cracking and flaking throughout. A pity, because there's a sort of early-60's goofiness to it that I find very appealing.

I really wanted to use this picture for the backglass. It had most of what I wanted -- but what to do about Susannah? Time to fire up the Gimp!

First, we surgically remove Susannah.

Now put back the missing part of Chris' arm.

Reconstruct the roof and strut of the car.

Fill in the car's interior.

Put back the sky and grass.

And repair the telephone pole. We're done! ...or are we? What is that extra sneaker doing under the door?
